The library floor encompasses 4000 sqft with a seating capacity for 200 students. There are also separate rooms for male and female students. The library has over 2500 reference books and growing. The library subscribes to the HINNERI program of World Health Care Organization (WHO) which allows students online access to over 20,000 books and journals thru the use of KOHA system.
The library has a comprehensive collection of medical books, textbooks, reference materials, journals, and research papers covering various medical disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, surgery, etc.
Access to online databases, e-journals, e-books, and other digital resources related to medical science be available. This allows students and faculty to access the latest research and advancements in the field.
The library provides a variety of study spaces to accommodate individual study as well as group discussions. These spaces can include individual study carrels, group study rooms, quiet zones, and collaborative work areas.
Trained librarians be available to provide assistance in locating and retrieving relevant resources, offering guidance on effective search strategies, and providing instruction on how to effectively utilize library resources and tools.
The library have a Bongobondhu Corner
The library features teachers’ lounge, reading and group discussion areas, photocopy facilities and computer section. WIFI is available for students.
