Focus and Scope of the Journal

President Abdul Hamid Medical College Journal (PAHMCJ) is a peer-reviewed journal and the official publication of President Abdul Hamid Medical College, Dakterbari, Jafrabad, Karimganj, Kishoreganj, Bangladesh.

The journal publishes Original Research Articles, Case Reports, Review Articles, Letters to the Editor and Point of Technique articles biannually (January and July).

The Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse any material for publication. Complimentary copies are distributed to medical college libraries and relevant academic institutions at home and abroad.

The journal strictly follows the policies of BMDC, BMRC and PAHMC Journal Editorial Board.

Editorial Policies

Manuscripts must not have been published previously and should not be under consideration elsewhere.
The corresponding author must ensure approval of all co-authors and submit a signed covering letter.
The responsibility for all scientific information rests solely with the authors.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit, revise or shorten accepted manuscripts.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

Ethical Aspects

Ethical approval must be mentioned in the Materials and Methods section.
Evidence of Ethics Committee approval must be provided on request.
Permission must be obtained for borrowed, adapted or modified tables, figures and photographs.
Proper credit lines must be included where necessary.

Plagiarism Detection

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.
Authors must avoid overlapping text from previously published articles.
Originality must be maintained throughout the manuscript.
As per ICMJE recommendations, plagiarism should be less than 20% (excluding references).
