On the occasion of World Hand Hygiene Day 2026, an awareness program and rally were organized at President Abdul Hamid Medical College to promote the importance of proper hand hygiene in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety.

The program was attended by the Principal of the college, Prof. Abdullah Halim Khan, along with faculty members, healthcare professionals, and students. Participants actively took part in the awareness rally carrying placards and spreading the message of clean hands for healthier lives.

The event highlighted the importance of proper hand washing practices in reducing the spread of infections and ensuring a safer healthcare environment. Through this initiative, the institution aimed to increase public awareness and encourage everyone to maintain proper hand hygiene in everyday life.
